Congratulations to the winners of this year’s “Créalangues” contest on the theme ‘Dare to Dream’.
The members of the Jury awarded two prizes to twelve students of the CE2 and the CM2-3 class for having respectively presented a project on the theme “Dare to Dream”.
The first project, a song entitled, “I have a dream” won the ‘Coup de Coeur du Jury’ prize. The children composed the lyrics of the song and were accompanied by Raphael La Rose on his guitar, under the close supervision of their English teacher.
The Winners are: Nathan Humbert, Loic Lincoln, Raphael La Rose, Kellie Ko Yum Chun, Hamid Moollan, Melissa Sookun, Lou-Ly Clapier Cremonini, Ojasvi Bundhoo, Nadia Menagé, Victoria Gallet, Kheli Runglall (CE2-1) and Julie Paillassard(CE2-2).
The CM2-3 students won the 2nd prize at primary level (2ème prix primaire) for their short and sweet documentary. Our pupils interviewed members of the general public at Mahebourg and ‘dared’ to ask the interviewees to share their dreams in various languages (Russian, Créole and English). The students were guided by their class and English teachers.
All students, undoubtedly, enjoyed participating in the ‘Créalangues 2017’ contest.
Congratulations to everyone.
